Qualification Course: Head of Pharmacovigilance

- Modular training programme consisting of three selected seminars and one elective module for Heads of Pharmacovigilance -

Learn the responsibilities and legal aspects of managing a PV system and its staff, and select an elective module according to your individual interests.

Three compulsory modules:

• The EU Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (EU QPPV)
• Pharmacovigilance Key Performance Indicators
Master Class: Local QPPV, EU QPPV, and Head of PV One additional elective module:

• Outsourcing and Vendor Management in Pharmacovigilance
• The Pharmacovigilance System Master File (PSMF) in a Global Environment
• RMP and PSUR in life-cycle management: An art, not a miracle
• Global Pharmacovigilance Inspection Readiness

This qualification course is designed for experienced pharmacovigilance professionals who currently hold or intend to assume leadership of a pharmacovigilance department.

The seminars are practice-oriented and designed to complement your professional life. Participants are encouraged to actively contribute their own questions and real-life challenges from their daily work.

Have you been working in pharmacovigilance for some time and now wish to take the next step in your career as Head of the Pharmacovigilance Department? Secure our combined package and gain both theoretical and practical knowledge on leading a PV department.

• Within 24 months, you will take part in four live training sessions (modules). These take place on fixed dates. Three of these modules (compulsory modules) are already selected for you. One additional module (elective) can be chosen freely according to your personal area of interest.

• Whether you hold the role of QPPV yourself, you must understand the responsibilities and legal aspects of managing a PV system.
