Originally from the UK, Pete has worked in the Netherlands for more than 20 years. After 5 years in-house at ASML, he worked for 10 years at the private practice DeltaPatents as partner, attorney and tutor in European and PCT law. As partner, he was responsible for their formalities group. He also was one of the original tutors training NL patent administrators, and passed the first exam in 2011 to become a Certified Formalities Officer (NL). He also passed the first EPAC exam in 2022. In 2017 he started his own firm, Fireball Patents, providing costeffective patent services to SME's and startups. He handles his own formalities before the NL, EP and IB offices. He is also the author of the PCT reference PCT.App, available as a fully customisable reference in IP appify's online platform, or as a printed book.

Paula has attended the Universidad Complutense in Madrid (Spain) where she obtained a bachelor's degree in History. In the IP world she has obtained the Patent Administration certification with the CIPA, a Master in Intellectual Property with Universidad de Barcelona (Spain) and the EPAC certification. She has more than 15 years of experience in patent formalities and IP support management roles, working in either in-house department as well as law firms, in Spain and The Netherlands. In her current role she is responsible for the daily operations of the Patent Team in Amsterdam from Plasseraud.
