Dr Sebastian Werner is a Market Access and HTA Specialist at the vfa (German Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies) and serves there as an expert on benefit assessment and market access issues, with a focus on EU HTA. Previously, he worked, among other roles, in the drug assessment department at IQWiG and conducted research at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics. He is a psychologist and a neuroscientist specialising in neuro- and behavioural sciences.
